The research, published in Nature Climate Change , assesses the impact of “overshooting” the aspirational goal of the Paris Agreement on the Amazon and Siberian forests. He tells Carbon brief that the authors selected “optimistic” pathways that “each have different relationships to the Paris Agreement goals”.
