It provides more defined results than a simple Google search through results from curated, professionally tagged publications. It contains resources from government, private companies, nonprofits and think tanks, academic, intergovernmental organizations, and trade associations.
The OurEnergyLibrary has been cited by the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, the Department of Energy, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. It is also listed in the Library of Congress's E-Resource site and at WorldCat.org.
