I look forward to seeing everyone at the June 20 FERC open meeting in Portland, Maine to discuss solutions for New England's capacity market reforms.
I remain convinced that AOCE deserves more consideration as a possible solution for capacity market reforms in New England. Two of the people that assisted with AOCE, Eugene Litvinov and Angie O'Connor, have passed on. I will continue to advocate for AOCE consideration in their memory and will not stop until someone authoritatively and convincingly states that AOCE will not work and provides a viable, detailed technical explanation as to why it will not work. Living out the words of Dylan Thomas "Do not go gentle into that good night".

ENTSO-E supports: the objective of avoiding a distortion of short-term markets, which ultimately ensures balancing and security of the system, the European Commission’s recognition of the role of flexibility needs assessments, the provisions to enhance demand response and consumer protection, the goal to strengthen long-term investment signals for carbon neutral generation deployment.
