I don't see flywheel storage on your list. We used to hear a lot about it but now it seems to have faded away.

    The Battery Storage has proven to respond in nano seconds and no other storage can react as fast. Battery storage can be installed and working the fastest too. The batteries keep coming down in price and last longer each year. It is very hard to beat.

Hi Jim, I know of one flywheel plant here in Ontario. Clear Creek Flywheel Energy Storage was commissioned in 2016. It produces 5,000 Kilowatts using 10 flywheels. I haven't seen many other examples of this technology implemented at that scale anywhere else.
