Ep. 50 The Energy Trilemma with ScottMadden
This week on the show I had the pleasure of sitting down with Cristin Lyons, Partner and Energy Practice Leader at ScottMadden.
For those of you who may not be familiar with ScottMadden they are one of the leading energy consultants in the US and have been consulting some of the largest energy companies since the 1980’s.
Boy, today’s discussion was a doozy! We got into topics like ERCOT procuring outside generation this winter, FERC order 22 22, and load is good for utilities and what’s it going to take to get that load onto the system!
This is one that if you are a bitcoin mining company, the tail end of the discussion has a ton of alpha as to how you navigate the energy industry in the next decade.
