Energy, Brazil and Ukraine vs Russia

The established conflict brings a new situation in the world.

The Russian invasion is the visible, traditional part of the war.

The "invisible" part is perhaps the most important one. The retaliations that will arise from the allies (NATO) and the counter-retaliations from Russia.

The price of oil has already skyrocketed. It is still too early to assess what will happen with the supply of Russian natural gas to Europe and the associated consequences.

The "invisible" part will be sorely felt around the world by the significantly increased inflation.

The challenge posed to each country is very clear. Those who will want to prepare themselves, reducing expenses in their budgets to lessen the effects of this conflict, thus protecting their populations. And those who will simply keep "everything as it is".

The most likely scenario here in Brazil is that we will be very affected by the situation, as those in  power (Government, Legislative and Judiciary) tend not to take a proactive (challenging) attitude that would be so desirable.
