Washington, D.C. – Lynn Abramson, President of the Clean Energy Business Network, issued the following statement after Congress passed the SBIR and STTR Extension Act of 2022 to reauthorize the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs for three years:
“The SBIR program has a 40-year track record of stimulating innovation through one of America’s strongest assets, our small business community. CEBN applauds Congress for extending the SBIR program for three years in strong bipartisan fashion, sending a signal of support to the small business innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs across the country. We all stand to benefit from the continuation of SBIR – from national security to economic competitiveness, to better outcomes in all economic sectors including cleantech.”
