Hydrogen Ireland aims to promote the role of hydrogen and fuel cells to enable them to become key components of our future low carbon economy on the island of Ireland. Our vision is that the hydrogen market quickly gathers pace, moving to a large-scale national domestic hydrogen market, addressing domestic demand, supported by interconnection, with great potential for export

The objective of Hydrogen Ireland Association (H2Irl) is to educate, upskill and creating economic opportunities and green hydrogen as a pathway to provide relief of poverty and economic opportunity creating community opportunities and advancement in education through increased knowledge, acceptance and adoption of Green Hydrogen as a fuel source for homes, business, industry and agriculture.

H2Irl delivering Economic Opportunity, Skills development, and education in the field of renewable energy, climate change and hydrogen. Areas of work encompass the island of Ireland and include;

  1. Alleviate energy poverty with hydrogen by creating local supply chains and production of green hydrogen
