Bargaining chip

In any event, if the Belgian government issues new demands, Engie will be able to use an important bargaining chip: The company wants a maximum price to be set for nuclear waste disposal, estimated to cost some 12 or even €15 billion. The Greens intended to have the French group pay for it, but Engie is now demanding the bill be capped. Negotiations are supposed to be completed in March.
