VIBE Ecologi Blog February 2024

Updated: Feb 5

In January 2022, VIBE became partners with Ecologi (https://ecologi.com/) to plant a tree for every "Earths Climate Heroes" childrens book sold. And on this second anniversary of the partnership, so far we've planted nearly 400 trees. The many benefits of partnering with Ecologi include - reducing carbon pollution, participating in solution for climate change, helping build a climate positive workforce, and taking positive action now – similar to the actions we encourage in our "Earths Climate Heroes" book!

Ecologi was founded because our collective home is in the process of being turned upside down leading to strife for almost all life on Earth. But we know it’s preventable and it’s not going to save itself. So, it is up to all of us now to get to work solving it with a variety of tools.  Reducing our carbon footprint is essential, however that transition is moving slower than the remaining time left unfortunately.  Things could turn quickly if the billions of us who care became more empowered to deploy existing climate solutions rendering Ecologi's philosophy and commitment to action is similar to VIBE's.  Ecologi has a range of capable tree planting partners who responsibly plant millions of trees a month on our community’s behalf making this partnership one that VIBE and its supporters are proud to participate in!  Ecologi is also a B Corporation, similar to Verdani Partners which founded VIBE.

So far using the power of collective action, Ecologi has planted 76 million trees - progress at https://ecologi.com/collective-action. They also help fund reforestation and other impactful carbon offset projects globally including Amazon conservation, providing clean & efficient cookstoves, restoring wilflowers wetlands and wildlife, mangrove plantings, and installing solar, wind, methane capture, and biochar projects. Let's please do our part to support their work purchasing more "Earth's Climate Heroes" books! So please get your copy, share this book, consider sponsoring copies at your local library or elementary school, and gift it to others at.
